IS THE 'RAW' ORGANIC FABRIC SOFT?

Yes, the raw organic fabric is very soft. We only use the highest quality handpicked long-staple and single-ply fibers. The fabric is beautifully soft and and breathable. This is a sheet that works all year round.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN KNOTTE'S RAW ORGANIC FABRIC COMPARED TO OTHERS?

Unlike other brands, we do not bleach our fabric nor do we use dye or any toxic chemicals during the entire process. Our fabrics come only in the raw and natural color of the organic cotton textiles. This stems from our commitment to sourcing and manufacturing responsibly and sustainably, with the health of people and environment in mind. These are the most pure and natural bedsheets you can get.

HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY BEDDING?

We recommend washing on a gentle cycle with cool or warm water using a natural, plant based detergent. We don't recommend whiteners, fabric softeners, or dryer sheets as they reduce the natural absorbency of the fabric. We recommend to hang dry however you can tumble dry. If using a tumble dryer be sure not to overload the machine. A half load will help prevent twisting, allowing the fabric to fluff. If applying directly to the bed after laundering, pull them out just before they’re dry as the slightly damp sheets will help prevent wrinkles.

WILL THE SHEETS SHRINK?

The raw organic fabric is preshrunk therefore any further shrinking will be very minimal. The raw organic fabric will continue to soften and get even more comfortable with use and washing.

WHAT DOES SATEEN MEAN?

Sateen refers to the type of weave. Our Sateen is handpicked and made of 100% long-staple and single ply organic cotton fibers with a four over one under weave. Our Sateen weave aligns threads tightly together, for a surface that's exceptionally lustrous and soft on one side, and slightly matte on the opposite. It feels so soft and smooth against the skin.
